Job summary

WOW Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our NSW Industrial Sales Team. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions for surplus equipment disposal across earthmoving, mining, transport and construction sectors.

The role comes with a warm book of leads, autonomy to develop new business, and flexible work arrangements—on the road, at home, or in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development & sales.
• Market knowledge in industrial sectors (earthmoving, mining, transport, construction).
• Experience in auctions or mining/equipment sales is valued.

Responsibilities

• Work through a mix of new business leads, warm prospects, and dormant accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
• Assess potential partners, perform competitive research, and develop compelling business cases.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships within both local and national teams.
• Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to ensure targets, KPIs, and revenue goals are met.
• Use negotiation & influencing skills to secure and close high-value deals.
• Develop and execute local sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
