Job summary

Optus Enterprise in Brisbane East is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to lead a front-line team and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will support the Store Manager, coach team members and help maintain a welcoming, high-performance retail environment.

The role focuses on developing people, improving store operations and delivering results while showcasing calm leadership under pressure. Previous retail leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and support the Store Manager to cultivate a high‑performing, inclusive team.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members with clear feedback and daily support.
• Maintain a welcoming, customer‑first environment and drive exceptional service experiences.
• Oversee daily operations, coordinate tasks, and identify opportunities to boost efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries with calm professionalism and de‑escalation techniques.
