Job summary

Australian Retirement Trust is seeking an Application Support Engineer to maintain, support, and enhance critical IT applications across the organisation in Brisbane or Melbourne. You’ll collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to keep systems available and performing well.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise applications and IT systems.
• Experience with incident management and IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, support, and troubleshooting across critical business applications.
• Manage incidents and service requests to agreed SLAs.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution.
• Support software releases, testing, deployments, and production changes.
• Contribute to availability, resilience, and disaster recovery processes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and external vendors.
• Maintain support documentation and processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call when required.
