Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead Local Infrastructure Management across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive operational excellence, manage projects, and engage stakeholders to ensure reliable IT services and successful technology rollouts.

This role requires strong ITIL practices, 5+ years in infrastructure support, 3+ years in project management, and excellent communication in English. Occasional travel and matrix-work experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years IT infrastructure operational support and service delivery.
• Minimum 3 years IT Project Management Experience.
• Strong knowledge in desktop support (Windows OS and Apple IOS).
• Excellent communication in English and strong user engagement.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for IT Infrastructure activities in Australia and New Zealand with stakeholder management.
• Lead local implementation of global IT Infrastructure initiatives (network, video conferencing, device replacement, technology rollouts).
• Lead and support IT infrastructure setup for local business projects (office renovations/relocations).
• Drive operational and audit excellence with reliable service delivery and compliance.
• Deliver IT on-site support in Australia and oversee on-site support in New Zealand with KPI reporting.
