Job summary

Knorr-Bremse is seeking an IT Manager in Australia to lead a small team and own IT Service Support nationally. The role focuses on delivering reliable IT services, supporting staff across sites, and driving improvements in systems and processes.

You will work with local and global IT teams to align priorities, participate in multi‑site initiatives, and ensure initiatives meet business needs with practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT service delivery, technical support or IT operations, including some experience leading or mentoring others.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience managing service tickets and resolving IT issues.
• Ability to prioritise work, manage escalations and keep things moving in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of two, ensuring they have the support and direction to do their jobs well.
• Manage IT Service Support nationally, including ticket management, incident resolution and day-to-day service delivery.
• Overseeing IT priorities, escalations and service performance to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Work with leaders and employees across sites to understand their needs and provide practical IT solutions.
• Support the rollout of new systems, technologies and business initiatives alongside local and global IT teams.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with global IT to align systems and ways of working across Knorr-Bremse.
