Sigma Computing is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer in Hobart to act as a trusted pre-sales advisor. You will lead discovery sessions, build prototypes, and deliver tailored demos that communicate the value of Sigma to executives and technical teams.

You will collaborate across Sales, Product, and Customer Success to craft data-driven solutions and respond to RFPs, expanding Sigma's footprint. You will work with cloud data warehouses, demonstrate production BI capabilities, and travel

Formación

• 2+ years in analytics, BI, or sales engineering.
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and advanced spreadsheet usage.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience implementing production BI solutions or proofs of concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical/analytics field or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsabilidades

• Understand customer challenges and run targeted discovery sessions.
• Create and showcase solution prototypes for business users.
• Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars.
• Present Sigma's business value to stakeholders at all levels.
• Provide responses to RFPs/RFIs with product, security insights.
• Contribute to product and sales certifications to grow skills.
• Collaborate with sales, product, customer success, and support teams.
• Advise customers on data lifecycle and analytics strategy using Sigma.
• Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently and hit quarterly targets.
• Become a Sigma product expert and trusted advisor for prospects and customers.
