Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking an Account Executive in Melbourne to drive new business and build a healthy sales pipeline. You will own the end-to-end sales process from discovery to contract, engaging closely with customers in the data analytics and BI space.

You will partner with a high-performing sales team, develop advocates for Sigma, and collaborate with data ecosystem partners to expand pipeline and customer success. Applicants based in Australia are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience closing deals in a B2B context.
• Experience in data analytics or BI space preferred.
• Background in high-tech software sales preferred.
• Demonstrated success in pipeline generation and quota attainment.
• Partnership and co-selling experience preferred.
• Collaborative team player with strong drive and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, create, and update accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce.
• Engage a diverse range of businesses in consultative sales using data analytics knowledge.
• Own the sales process from first call to demo to proposal, proof of concept, and contract.
• Collaborate with a motivated, high-performing sales team.
• Bring on new customers and develop advocates for Sigma in the BI market.
• Engage with partners in the data ecosystem to build pipeline and support customer initiatives.
