Job summary

Arcare Hove is seeking a dedicated Rostering Coordinator to ensure the residence is appropriately staffed across all shifts, delivering high‑quality care and a positive work environment. You will be central to rostering, balancing resident care needs with staff availability and skills.

In this role you will develop and maintain schedules, manage shift changes, and coordinate with management on budget and staffing.

Qualifications

• Experience rostering across multiple teams/departments.
• Experience in workforce rostering, scheduling, payroll administration or workforce coordination.
• Experience using scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target.
• Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn.
• Collaborative and strong teamwork and communication.
• Friendly and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents.
• Coordinate the availability of different staff members, considering qualifications, preferences and contractual obligations.
• Handle shift change requests, leave, or time off and find suitable replacements to maintain staffing levels.
• Manage payroll-related administration, ensuring roster data, timesheets, leave requests, and attendance are accurate and promptly submitted to payroll.
• Maintain effective communication with staff to inform them of schedules, changes and updates.
• Collaborate with management to align staffing needs with budget constraints and optimise workforce management.
