Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Roster Coordinator for our Hove residence to ensure the facility is appropriately staffed to deliver high-quality care. You will be a key member of the frontline team, managing rosters, coordinating shifts and communicating changes to staff.

In this role you will collaborate with management to balance staffing needs with budget considerations, while supporting a positive work environment and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience managing rostering across multiple teams/departments.
• Experience in workforce rostering, scheduling or payroll administration in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Humanforce or Time Target).
• Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Staff Scheduling: Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and care requirements.
• Managing Shift Changes: Handle shift-change, leave, and time-off requests and arrange replacements as needed.
• Payroll Administration: Manage payroll-related tasks, timesheets, and attendance records submitted to payroll.
• Communication: Keep staff informed of schedules, changes and important information.
• Coordination with Management: Align staffing with budget constraints and optimise workforce.
