MidCoast Council in NSW seeks a Finance Officer to manage supplier payments, maintain AP records and reconcile supplier accounts. The role also provides trained relief support to the Payroll team during absences and busy periods.

You will handle invoicing accuracy, GST treatments, supplier ABNs, and monthly reconciliations while contributing to financial reporting and customer service across Council's Finance team.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance would be advantageous.
• Experience processing financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Experience with GST and supplier payments.

Responsabilidades

• Process and raise supplier payments through the AP system.
• Check invoices for accuracy, authorisation, coding and GST.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and maintain records.
• Produce outstanding orders reports and assist AP control reconciliations.
• Provide payroll relief, check timesheets and respond to enquiries.
• Assist with routine payroll and system upgrades testing.
