Job summary

Coates is seeking a driven Account Manager to own and grow a diverse customer portfolio in Ipswich, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. You will identify opportunities to increase revenue and deliver tailored equipment solutions that add real value to customers’ businesses.

The role involves on-the-road work within an established territory, strong relationship building, and collaboration across teams to meet sales targets and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales or account management role within construction, industrial, equipment hire, manufacturing or related industries.
• Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and develop strategic account plans.
• Proactive and resilient with drive to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen partnerships and deliver tailored equipment and solutions that add real value to your customers' businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys being on the road, building strong commercial relationships and uncovering new business opportunities within an established territory.
