Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited in Chinchilla is seeking an Account Manager to take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio, grow revenue and deliver tailored equipment and solutions that add real value to your customers' businesses.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and manage relationships while identifying opportunities to expand Coates' offerings in the local market.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales or account management role in construction, industrial, equipment hire or related industry.
• Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and develop strategic account plans.
• Proactive, resilient approach with drive to achieve sales targets.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across teams.
• Current valid driver's licence.

We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our Chinchilla team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen partnerships and deliver tailored equipment and solutions that add real value to your customers' businesses.

In this role you will

• Establish yourself as the lead point of contact for all client matters and developing trusted relationships
• Navigate your way through allocated client organisations and increase awareness of Coates offerings and solutions
• Develop strategies and collaborate with support teams to deliver initiatives that delight customers and support sales growth

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys being on the road, building strong commercial relationships and uncovering new business opportunities within the Chinchilla region.
