Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited in Townsville is seeking a client-focused sales professional to lead relationships with construction, manufacturing, and government accounts. You will be the trusted contact, driving growth and promoting Coates offerings while coordinating with internal teams.

Based at the Townsville branch with regional travel, this full-time role rewards a proactive problem-solver with 1–2 years in a similar role, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to analyse data to

• Experience selling services into construction, manufacturing, government or related industries.
• Be a self-starter who thinks strategically to drive results in a performance-driven environment.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills with 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret and analyse data to formulate strategic plans.

Based out of ourTownsville branch, with regular travel across the region and Mackay, you’ll be reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Each day will include building and nurturing trusted relationships to a client group including small to mid-tier construction and civil companies to provide mutually beneficial outcomes to these customers and Coates.

In this role you will:

• Establish yourself as the lead point of contact for all client matters and developing trusted relationships
• Navigate your way through allocated client organisations and increase awareness of Coates offerings and solutions
• Develop strategies and collaborate with support teams to deliver initiatives that delight customers and support sales growth
