Job summary

Coates Hire in Queensland is seeking an Account Manager to manage a diverse local portfolio in Chinchilla. You’ll grow revenue, nurture customer relationships and deliver tailored equipment and solutions that add real value.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll lead client communications, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to drive sales targets while enjoying flexible working options and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within construction, industrial, equipment hire, manufacturing or a related industry.
• A proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset.
• The ability to analyse customer needs and develop strategic account plans.
• A proactive and resilient approach, with the drive to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• A current and valid driver's licence.
