RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Chef. You will begin your culinary journey under skilled chefs, learning hygiene, safe work practices, handling, prep, knife skills and cooking methods in a busy resort environment.

You’ll rotate through main production and multiple outlets, with support to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Cookery, while enjoying job training, uniform, and onsite parking in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Full availability and flexibility to work various shifts a 7 day rotating, including evenings, weekends & public holidays.
• Passion and enthusiasm for cooking & developing your culinary skills
• Reliability and commitment to completing a certificate 3 cookery qualification
• Clear communication skills and work well in a team environment
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, can follow direction, show attention to detail & take pride in work
• Excellent grooming, hygiene and presentation

Responsabilités

• Learn hygienic & safe work practices, food handling, food preparation, knife skills and methods of cookery.
• Gain knowledge across various sections of our multi-outlet kitchens, including the main production kitchen.
