Job summary

RACV Noosa Resort in the Sunshine State is seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join our professional kitchen team. You will learn hygienic and safe work practices, food handling, knife skills and methods of cookery under experienced chefs.

You’ll gain knowledge across kitchen sections, with full training provided both on the job and through our training plan. The role is permanent full-time with an apprenticeship wage and support to complete a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• Passion and enthusiasm for cooking & developing your culinary skills.
• Clear communication skills and work well in a team environment.
• Full availability and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends & public holidays.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, can follow direction, show attention to detail & take pride in work.
• Commitment to completing a Certificate III Cookery qualification.
