Zusammenfassung

Capture Group is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Developer to build and evolve ITSM solutions within an agile delivery team. You will take user stories from estimate to tested solution, ensuring the platform remains stable, maintainable and well documented.

You will work on Incident, Problem and Change Management, Service Catalog, and Request Fulfillment, crafting Catalog Items, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules and UI Policies while collaborating with Product Owners and Analysts to raise risks

Qualifikationen

• IT or technically oriented degree, or at least 5 years of IT experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development in the last 5 years as Developer or Technical Consultant.
• Strong QA process experience and tooling.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence, MS Office and Miro.
• At least 1 year in agile projects and 1 year as developer in an agile team.
• Fluent business-level English (C1). German not required.

Aufgaben

• Develop and configure ServiceNow across Incident, Problem and Change Management, Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment.
• Convert user stories into working solutions with estimates, implementation and test cases.
• Build Catalog Items, Record Producers, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts and UI Policies.
• Analyze existing landscapes and interfaces, including legacy systems, for integration.
• Perform module, functional and integration testing, preferably automated with ATF.
• Troubleshoot, fix bugs, log issues and support releases.
• Create operations documentation and technical standards.
• Provide maintenance, incident/problem management and 2nd/3rd-level support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Testers.

What you will work on

• ServiceNow development and configuration across Incident, Problem and Change Management, Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment
• Turning user stories and acceptance criteria into working solutions, including effort estimates, implementation and test cases
• Building Catalog Items, Record Producers, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts and UI Policies
• Analysing existing system landscapes and interfaces, including legacy systems, and integrating components
• Module, functional and integration testing, preferably automated with ATF
• Error analysis, bug fixing, logging and monitoring, and support for releases
• Technical documentation, including operations documentation, in line with defined technical standards
• Support for maintenance, incident and problem management, and 2nd/3rd-level support
• Close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Testers, raising risks and improvement ideas early

Must-have requirements

• IT or technically oriented degree (university, university of applied sciences or technical college), or at least 5 years of professional IT experience
• At least 3 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience within the last 5 years, as a ServiceNow Developer or Technical Consultant
• Very good practical experience with current software quality assurance processes and tools
• Very good practical experience with Jira/Confluence, MS Office and Miro
• At least 1 year of project experience with agile methods, and at least 1 year as a developer in an agile team
• Fluent, business‑level English (C1); German is not required

What you also bring

• Solid knowledge in at least four of: Incident, Problem, Change Management, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment
• Proven development experience with Catalog Items, Record Producers, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts and UI Policies
• Experience implementing end‑to‑end service processes
• Experience with Scrum and SAFe, and confident use of Git
• Nice to have: ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS, CTA or CWA
