A1 Slovenija d.d. is seeking an experienced Group Internal Audit leader to independently review the effectiveness of the ICS, risk management and governance processes.

The role supports a virtual setup and oversees audit work across the A1 footprint, coordinating planning, execution and reporting at the group level. Qualificações

• 8+ years of audit/internal audit experience in multinational organizations with group-wide oversight.
• Certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CFE or ACCA are highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of COSO, ISO 31000, SOX, GDPR and IFRS frameworks and standards.
• Experience leading multi-entity or cross-border audit programs.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills with regulatory awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coordinate and review planning of business audits for the A1 Group, ensuring risk-based local plans.
• Guide, approve execution and reporting of audit engagements across the group.
• Review audit reports for consistency with methodology, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Oversee evaluation of SOX management testing for design, implementation and operation of controls.
• Provide expert review on test documentation, evidence, and findings for clarity and impact.
• Facilitate development and harmonisation of audit systems and tools group-wide.
• Enhance audit processes and methodology across the group and support local teams.
• Perform in-depth risk analyses to identify mission-critical processes and emerging risks.
• Act as liaison with senior stakeholders, corporate functions, external auditors and subsidiary audit heads.
• Drive knowledge sharing and competency development on audit and risk topics across the group.
