Job summary

A1 Makedonija is seeking an experienced Group Internal Audit leader for IT audits in a global, virtual setup. You will coordinate audits across the A1 group, ensuring risk-based planning and rigorous execution while aligning with group standards.

Required are 8+ years in IT/internal audit within multinational settings, certifications such as CISA/CISSP/CISM/CIA, strong IT framework knowledge, and fluency in English. German skills are a plus for business communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT audit experience in multinational organizations.
• Experience with SOX, ISAE 3402 or SOC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IT frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, NIST) and emerging risks.
• Fluent English (C1+); German skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and review IT audit planning for the A1 group, ensuring risk-based, comprehensive local audit plans.
• Guide and approve execution and reporting of IT audit engagements (ad-hoc, planned, follow-up).
• Review IT audit reports across group entities for alignment with methodology and standards.
• Oversee evaluation of SOX management testing of ITGCs and other controls; provide expert review and actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate development and harmonization of audit systems and tools used group-wide.
• Foster enhancement of audit processes and IT risk universe; support local teams.
• Perform in-depth risk analyses to identify mission-critical assets and risks.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders, corporate functions, external auditors, and subsidiary audit heads.
• Drive knowledge sharing and competency uplift on audit and IT risk topics.
