Job summary

A1 Telekom Austria AG is seeking an experienced IT Audit Lead to oversee planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits across the group. You will ensure risk-based local plans, coordinate ad-hoc and forensic engagements, and drive standardization of controls and methodologies across entities.

The role requires strong IT audit credentials, cross-border governance experience, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders while promoting continuous improvement in risk management and governance

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT audit experience in multinational organizations.
• Certifications CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IT frameworks ITIL/COBIT/NIST and related controls.
• Experience with SOX, ISAE 3402, SOC reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-entity audit programs and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and review IT audit planning for the A1 group and ensure risk-based local plans.
• Guide and approve execution and reporting of IT audits including ad-hoc and forensic work.
• Review IT audit reports across group entities for consistency and quality.
• Oversee evaluation of SOX testing and ITGCs with actionable recommendations.
• Harmonize audit tools and systems used group-wide and support local teams.
• Develop and refine IT audit processes, methodology, and universe.
• Perform in-depth risk analyses and identify critical assets and emerging risks.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders, corporate functions, external auditors, and subsidiary heads.
• Drive knowledge sharing and competency uplift on audit and IT risk topics.
