Job summary

A1 Group Internal Audit seeks a senior leader to drive and harmonise the audit program across our multinational group. The role operates in a virtual setup and collaborates with subsidiaries to ensure robust risk controls and compliant governance processes.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in internal audit, strong certifications (CIA/CRMA/ACCA), and deep COSO/ISO 31000 knowledge. English fluent, German willingness welcomed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of audit/internal audit experience in multinational groups with group-wide oversight.
• CISA/CIA/CRMA or equivalent certifications strongly preferred with SOX experience.
• Deep knowledge of COSO/ISO 31000 and relevant regulations (SOX, GDPR, IFRS).
• Proven ability to manage multi-entity or cross-border audit programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and review planning of group-wide audits ensuring risk-based local plans.
• Guide execution and reporting of audit engagements (ad-hoc, planned, follow-up).
• Review audit reports across group entities for consistency with standards.
• Oversee evaluation of SOX controls design, implementation, and operation.
