The Assistant Country Manager will be responsible for Travelive's business development in Austria. The applicant must understand the local area, language, and market. You will act as a strategist and brand ambassador, communicating Austria’s needs, priorities, KPIs, and strategies to support the company’s expansion.

Responsibilities
Contracting
  • Assist the Contracting Team with the purchasing strategy in Austria
  • Share potential supplier details with the Contracting Team
  • Update the sales, operations, and support team with new product and services
Production
  • Improve existing products and ensure excellent quality follow through
  • Research and develop new products in Austria (in addition to Hungary & Czechia)
  • Inspect on the spot and report
  • Train sales, marketing, operations and support about new and existing products
  • Continuous monitoring of all product and supplier quality
  • Assist with website development
Sales
  • Create unique tailor‑made travel itineraries in Austria+ (Hungary, Czechia) in addition to country combinations with Italy & Switzerland
  • Ensure inquiries are dealt with in a precise and timely manner ascertaining all requirements
  • Convert enquiries and meet sales targets
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Offer travel solutions based on client requirements and tailor itineraries to meet specific requests
  • Communicate with clients and agency partners in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain organized communication, quotations, and reports
  • Stay current with the travel industry and destination trends, and relevant new developments
  • Be aware of sales budget and help achieve the targets overall
  • Assist with training the sales staff
Agency Relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agency partners in designated markets
  • Maintain communication and locate opportunities for partnerships with consortia (Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble & more) and luxury agency partners worldwide
  • Maintain and enhance Travelive profile on consortia and partner presentations online and offline
  • Draft creative proposals and presentations, and communicate them effectively with current and prospective clients
  • Liaise with Marketing/PR, Design and IT team on creation of promotional materials
  • Maintain budgets and travel schedules
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Financial reporting to internal and external clients or partners in coordination with accounting team
  • Assist with leading familiarization trips and events in destination
  • Requires international travel for sales calls and to represent Travelive at trade shows, conventions, or other local events
Management
  • Consulting duties including the training and support of our Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Contracting teams
  • Monthly report to Senior Management
  • Establish detailed and updated Competitors’ screenings
  • Ensure market analysis and follow up
