Ryz Labs is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our clients in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that power a cutting-edge cloud and edge-based IoT platform. In this key role, you’ll help shape the data infrastructure that drives real-time analytics, automation, and intelligent insights across industries. Working alongside a team of talented engineers, you’ll deliver high-performance systems—from ingesting edge device data to optimizing complex cloud pipelines on AWS.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software or data engineering within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Git, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Athena, Timestream, S3) and edge technologies (MQTT, AWS IoT Greengrass).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and validation.
• Ensure observability and security through tools like CloudWatch and Grafana, following best practices for IAM, encryption, and access control.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, DevOps, and product teams to deliver comprehensive and reliable data solutions.
