Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a remote role with a US-based higher education marketing agency. You will own technical audits, write developer-ready specs, and drive improvements across a portfolio of partner sites.

You'll also design Claude-based tools and workflows to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production, enabling the team to focus on editing and strategy.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and driving fixes
Hands-on with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes and perform light implementations
Clear written communication: write developer specs and client-friendly recommendations
Experience building Claude-based tools and AI-assisted workflows

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts and run technical audits
Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams
Handle light WordPress implementation (titles, meta, redirects, schema)
Monitor GSC and GA4 to detect drops and indexing problems
Build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, QA
Design scalable systems for the SEO service and document them
