Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to own technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education clients, while also building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production.

You will work alongside the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO, driving improvements in crawlability, indexing, and AI-ready content structures across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with 3+ years in technical SEO.
• Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and drive fixes.
• Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, and SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/Semrush).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical audits across client sites for crawlability, indexation, and CWV.
• Write dev-ready specs and verify fixes with developers.
• Handle WordPress tweaks like titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows to scale audits and QA.
• Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems.
• Own AI readiness for AEO/GEO including structured data.
• Design systems to convert briefs into near-publish-ready drafts.
• Document systems and train the team; measure time saved.
• Support client calls and explain deep technical topics.
