AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to evaluate current reporting and define a future-state strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. You will build inventories of reports, interview stakeholders, and translate needs into well-defined requirements.

The role requires at least 4 years of business analysis experience, strong communication with senior stakeholders, and the ability to operate across business, technology, data, and risk domains.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience of at least 4 years.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Experience in process mapping, requirements documentation, and reporting inventories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics, and related artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need and audience.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, replace, or decommission reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to understand objectives and needs.
• Translate needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Establish a consolidated view of reporting demand across stakeholders.
• Create a target-state reporting portfolio based on findings.
• Define governance for reporting and an ownership model.
