AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. The ideal candidate will guide requirements and drive modernization of the reporting portfolio.

The role involves interviewing stakeholders, mapping processes, and delivering a roadmap to consolidate, retire, or upgrade reports while ensuring alignment with business goals and risk considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis and requirements management experience.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing reporting or analytics portfolios.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirements docs, and reporting inventories.
• Identify duplication, gaps, and simplification opportunities.
• Work across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop inventory of existing reports, dashboards, metrics.
• Research historical reporting to understand original needs.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, or retire reports.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to gather needs.
• Translate needs into defined requirements.
• Maintain traceability from business needs to reports.
• Develop target-state reporting portfolio and a roadmap.
