AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to design a future-state reporting strategy and governance across multiple stakeholders. You will inventory current reports, run structured interviews, and craft requirements that align business needs with data capabilities.

This role requires translating complex needs into actionable specs and leading portfolio rationalization. You will collaborate across business, technology, data, and risk to define ownership, standards, and a sustainable reporting

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience with at least 4 years.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and lead requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing reporting or analytics portfolios.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirement docs, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Identify duplications, gaps, and simplifications in reporting.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders; manage ambiguity and priorities.
• Proficient English communication across business, tech, data, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommissioning.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reports.
• Conduct structured interviews to uncover objectives and outcomes.
• Translate needs into well-defined requirements and ensure traceability.
• Create a consolidated view of reporting demand across teams.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio and rollout roadmap.
