AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. You will drive requirements, map processes, and ensure traceability from business needs to reporting artifacts.

The role requires at least 4 years of analysis experience, excellent communication with senior stakeholders, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience of at least 4 years.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirements docs, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Identify duplications, gaps, and opportunities for simplification.
• Operate across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Research historical reporting to understand needs, audience, and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports that may be obsolete.
• Provide recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, or retire reports.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews to understand objectives and pain points.
• Translate needs into well-defined requirements.
• Maintain traceability from needs to reports and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on findings.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, and dependencies.
• Establish ownership and governance for reports and metadata.
• Define standards for documentation and data lineage.
• Create a sustainable change management process for reporting.
