AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. The role demands strong requirements management, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate complex needs into actionable specifications.

You will inventory current reports, evaluate value and usability, and propose consolidated, maintained, or retired artifacts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis and requirements management experience.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing reporting or analytics portfolios.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, documentation, inventories, and roadmaps.
• Identify duplications, gaps, and opportunities for simplification.
• Coordinate across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, metrics, and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need and audience.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming or producing reports.
• Conduct structured interviews to understand objectives and outcomes.
• Translate needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability between needs, reports, and outcomes.
• Create a target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements.
• Define which reports to create, enhance, consolidate, retain, or retire.
• Establish ownership for reports, data sources, and requirements.
