Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team. You will manage licensing requests across the full lifecycle, interpret terms, and maintain asset records, collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to support compliance and cost optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models, and fluency in English and Spanish. You will work across LATAM locations including Santiago and Mendoza, contributing to audits,

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing and ITAM responsibilities.
• Understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Fluency in English and Spanish for regional/global collaboration.
• Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors on licensing needs and escalations.
• Handle high-volume workloads and prioritize time-sensitive requirements while improving SAM processes.
