Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, supporting licensing decisions, compliance, and optimization across LATAM and international regions.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models, and the ability to coordinate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and publishers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong English and Spanish are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, licensing, or ITAM with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and audits.
• Ability to handle high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requests, adapt between publishers and tasks.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with regional/global collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing/licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
