AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software lifecycle with product managers, engineers, and architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion an efficient test pyramid with AI-assisted testing.

Formación

• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Able to read, write, or debug test code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiar with CI/CD and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on AI-assisted testing tools experience required.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

• Partner with product, engineering, and architecture to embed quality in SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned to priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid over heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate to improve code coverage and architecture for testing value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
• Shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design reviews.
• Leverage AI tools for test case generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort with intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements.
