AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Developers, and Architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tooling for coverage optimization.

The role requires 4+ years in quality engineering and hands-on AI-assisted testing experience, with upper-intermediate English.

Formación

• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or automation experience.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code in Java/JS/TS/Python/C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Upper-Intermediate English language level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with PMs, engineers, and architects to embed quality across SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid balancing unit, service, integration, and UI tests.
• Collaborate with devs to assess code changes and coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools for test generation and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects with root-cause analysis and preventative improvements.
