AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers, leveraging AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization. This role requires hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing and modern automation frameworks.

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Experience with REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality throughout SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid by balancing unit and integration tests before heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and determine where tests add value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD for fast feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools for generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
