AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers, using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-powered tooling.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start and champion shift-left practices while ensuring continuous feedback through CI/CD

Formación

• Minimum 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code or scripts (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality across the SDLC.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a lean test pyramid and optimize test mix beyond heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate on code changes, coverage, and architecture to maximize automated testing value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead shift-left quality activities through backlog refinement and design reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
