AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC by partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, while promoting a right-sized test pyramid and AI-assisted testing. You will build scalable automation within CI/CD pipelines and champion shift-left quality, ensuring fast feedback and high reliability for

Formación

• 4+ years of quality engineering/testing/automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality across SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid and balance unit/service/integration tests over UI tests.
• Collaborate to understand code changes and determine value of automated tests.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
