AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering teams on administration, performance, security, and reliability, performing hands-on duties in a highly technical environment.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience, expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, scripting in PowerShell or Python, Terraform, and Confluent Kafka, with

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and keep them performing well.
• Plan for and carry out disaster recovery, ensuring zero data loss in case of disaster.
• Keep database systems secure, including access control and security protocols.
• Analyze and tune database performance, diagnose complex performance issues.
• Work closely with engineers on system design, performance tuning and technical support.
