AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering teams in a hands-on role focused on security, reliability, and performance.

The position requires 3–4 years of DBA experience and proficiency with MS SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, and scripting with PowerShell or Python. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Kafka (Confluent Kafka) is highly valued, as is a strong

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with Kafka (Confluent Kafka) administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong performance analysis and tuning skills.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure optimal performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss where possible.
• Ensure database security including access controls and compliance with protocols.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design, performance tuning, and support.
• Hands-on administration of data systems powering critical websites.
