AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high‑availability production databases, working closely with engineering teams. This hands‑on role emphasizes database administration, performance, security, and reliability.

The team requires 3–4 years of hands‑on DBA experience with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, Terraform, and Confluent Kafka, plus PowerShell or Python and upper‑intermediate English.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years hands‑on DBA experience.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS RDS/Aurora services.
• PowerShell or Python programming.
• IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent) administration and troubleshooting.
• Performance tuning for high‑availability systems.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on design and delivery.
• Upper‑intermediate English level.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss.
• Secure databases including access control and security protocols.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design and performance tuning.
