Job summary

Sophilabs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to own end-to-end data pipelines connecting paid media, CRM, and warehousing. You will design scalable pipelines from sources through to dashboards and automated reports, ensuring data quality and trust for education-focused clients.

You will work on modular, version-controlled dbt/Dataform transformations, maintain CI/CD, and optimize Looker Studio dashboards. Remote role with education marketing exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering in marketing or agency.
• Experience configuring datastreams and destinations in Adverity or similar ETL.
• Advanced SQL with BigQuery in transformation and modeling.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform for modular SQL pipelines.
• Python proficiency for API connections and pipeline automation.
• CRM data flows with Slate, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot.
• Understanding marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and platform schemas.
• Git and multi-client environments with strict data segregation.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture across paid media and CRM.
• Build and maintain CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) to warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery; design efficient schemas and partitioning.
• Create modular SQL transformations with dbt/Dataform pipelines.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and data segregation.
• Enable reporting with Looker Studio dashboards and automated sheets.
• Monitor data quality, validate flows, and diagnose discrepancies.
• Collaborate with managers and client teams to translate requirements.
