Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to own end-to-end data pipelines from paid media and CRM into a centralized BigQuery warehouse. You will design scalable, modular dbt/Dataform transformations and support Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports for education and nonprofit clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering in marketing or agency environments.
• Strong SQL and BigQuery experience with transformation and modeling.
• Experience with dbt or Dataform pipelines.
• Python for API connections and pipeline automation.
• CRM data flows (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) experience.
• Experience with Adverity or comparable ETL platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture from paid media to warehouse.
• Own CRM integration and data connections to ensure clean lead and enrollment data.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery with efficient schemas and partitioning.
• Build modular, version-controlled SQL transformations in dbt/Dataform.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and data segregation across clients.
• Enable fast Looker Studio dashboards and automated reporting.
• Monitor data quality and resolve API breaks, minimizing latency.
