AgileEngine in Buenos Aires is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a product-led engineering team. This role uses Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, covering tooling and architecture challenges.

You will tackle compliance, cost-savings, and observability work, participate in code reviews, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable software at scale.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency in MongoDB on Atlas.
• Proficiency in Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance systems on a major cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work such as compliance and maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and perform mid-level design work with cross-functional partners.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
