Job summary

AgileEngine in Rosario, Argentina is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a Product-led engineering team. This role focuses on Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, handling everything from tooling to system architecture.

You will work with cross-functional partners, contribute to design reviews, and help improve observability, cost-savings, and compliance while delivering reliable services.

Qualifications

3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
Experience with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL.
Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
Experience with Spring Boot and GraphQL.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.
Contribute to system architecture and technical design.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high standards.
Ensure observability, performance, and reliability of systems.
