Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or site reliability engineering.
• Deep experience with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Hands-on with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle/encryption.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and perform post-mortems.
