Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities on an AWS-first stack.

You will design and run CI/CD pipelines for Glue ETL, Athena views, and related data infrastructure, while building cloud infrastructure with IaC and enabling fast, safe data product delivery across teams.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data experience.
• Deep AWS proficiency across S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Hands-on with Glue, Athena, and S3 data lake tooling.
• IaC expertise: Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Strong CI/CD design and operation experience.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra.
• Build AWS cloud infrastructure with IaC and secure access controls.
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts, SLA tracking.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and templates.
• Operate Airflow or MWAA workflows and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture reviews.
