Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba. This role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to accelerate data engineering while ensuring high reliability, strong security, and excellent developer experience.

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE with data engineering exposure.
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, S3) and data pipelines.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs, Athena views, and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts for data pipelines and platforms.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Manage container infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda) for data ingestion and orchestration.
• Operate workflow orchestration environments (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale ingestion/transformation.
• Drive security practices (Secrets Manager, least privilege, network segmentation).
• Collaborate with data teams to translate requirements into scalable infra.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for outages.
