Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role based in Argentina. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities on an AWS-first platform, building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling to empower data engineers to ship high-quality data products safely.

Competenze
- 5+ years in DevOps or platform/SRE with data engineering experience.
- Deep AWS experience (S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch).
- Strong CI/CD and IaC skills across Terraform or CDK.
Mansioni
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs.
- Build cloud infrastructure on AWS with IaC.
- Own observability stack for data pipelines.
- Develop DataOps self-service tooling.
- Manage container and compute infrastructure.
- Design and operate workflow orchestration (Airflow, MWAA).
- Build/stake Glue ETL jobs.
- Drive security practices on data platform.
- Collaborate with data teams.
- Lead incident response for data platform outages.
- Mentor junior engineers.
