Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure in Córdoba, Argentina.

You will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems that power Proofpoint's data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS-first) and CI/CD pipelines to enable data teams to ship high-quality data products faster and more safely.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop and maintain self-service DataOps tooling and templates.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure for data ingestion services.
• Design and operate workflow orchestration environments (MWAA / Airflow / Step Functions).
