Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and data infrastructure across AWS-first cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and data pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, and S3.

You will design and operate IaC (Terraform / CDK), observability stacks, and DataOps tooling, mentor juniors, and collaborate with data scientists and security teams to deliver scalable, secure data products.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/platform engineering or SRE experience.
• At least 2 years hands-on data engineering work.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency with IaC tools Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Own observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages.
• Mentor junior engineers on DevOps and data engineering.
